Date, Time, and Place Friday, August 20, 5:00 – 10:00 p.m. and Saturday, August 21, 2:00 – 10:30 p.m.   This free event is annually produced the third weekend of August through a partnership with the Denton Mayor and Council, Caroline County Recreation & Parks, and the Caroline Council of Arts. The festival began in 1989 (learn more), and since 1996 the production is guided by some sort of theme.   This years theme is Super Heros!     Free Shuttle Bus and Satellite Parking Supervised parking and air-conditioned buses are located at 403 South 7th Street at the Health and Public Services Building across from the Denton Fire Department.  Handicapped accessible DCT county buses run every 15 minutes to 3 festival stops starting at 3:30 on Friday and 11:00 on Saturday. (Learn More)     Handicapped Parking Restricted parking for vehicles with a handicapped tag is reserved on a first-come first-served basis at the municipal lot located on Gay and Third Street across from the Denton Town Office.   Inclement Weather In the event of inclement weather on Friday, August 20th, no activities for this date will not be re-scheduled.
